Ice Cream Weather

Yup - it actually hit 100 degrees' here yesterday. They say it hasn't been this hot since 2002, YIKES I can't believe it's been that long. Now don't get me wrong I absolutely love the hot weather and I'm probably one of the few people who doesn't complain. Mind you I would enjoy it more if I could spend the day at the beach rather than at work.

A couple of weeks back I took a class at the LSS with Joanne B. what a sweetie, such spunk & fun. It was a dreary afternoon so spending the day indoors stamping was perfect. We made a total of 3 cards using the MFT stamps. This is one of the creations we made that day. I realized I need to get myself a small sewing machine for cards, I love the way it looks. Any recommendations and where to maybe buy one locally?

I have 2 of the MFT pure innocence stamps and fortunately this is one of them. She is perfect for a day like yesterday. The next couple of days are pretty much going to be the same, so maybe I can talk someone into going out for ice cream. If I'm really lucky we can take a ride to the dairy farm where all the ice cream is home made and totally delish.

Hope everyone is having a great week. I'm looking forward to the weekend as I'm on vacation next week. Let's hope the good weather holds out.

Super, super cute!!!

I got a great machine at Ink About It. A Janome, I think. I researched them all and decided on that one. I knew someone who had a cheapy from WalMart or Target and it kept chewing up the cardstock.

I keep forgetting to check about next week! I will do that and email you, k?

Stay cool!
