Yes I'm still alive. The last couple of months have been a little rough with a lot going on. I have still been creating, though not a ton of cards.

This is a scrapbook I did for one of my co-workers who is expecting her first baby in July. It took little longer than I thought it would (mostly due to not enough crafting time), but I was able to finish it before she has the baby. I got this idea from my wonderful friend Vicki who's books are totally awesome. (Hope you don't mind, I CASED a few layouts)

One good thing about this project though, was I FINALLY used my cricut machine. Yes, I've had it for over a year and just figured out the basics. Now if I could only figure out what else I can do with it Life will be good.

Hopefully, I'll be posting on a regular basis soon enough. Just need to get thru the next couple of weeks and all should be good. Very much looking forward to being able to have some time to craft and create.

Everyone have a great week.

Sorry it's been a rough few months for you. Maybe we can find some play time this summer. :)

Really cool scrapbook!!

You asked me about the spines of my DVD cases. I cut computer paper (8.5 x 11) in half, then trim to 7 inches. So I have two that are 5.5 x 7 sheets; these fit perfectly on the front and spine of the cases. Then I take the labels from my old stamp sets and put it on the paper where the spine will be and add a numbered sticker for my reference. Hope this helps!!
